WiiM has introduced its newest innovation, the WiiM Sound smart speaker. Known for redefining affordable hi-fi with streamers like the WiiM Mini and WiiM Amp, the company is now stepping into the all-in-one speaker space. The WiiM Sound blends hi-resolution streaming, room correction, and multi-room audio in a sleek, compact design.
A new step in WiiM’s journey
After years of refining streaming technology, WiiM is expanding its ecosystem with a standalone speaker. The WiiM Sound first appeared at High End Munich 2025, alongside the WiiM Amp Ultra and WiiM Sub Pro. The launch created excitement among music enthusiasts who saw it as the next evolution of the WiiM experience.
The WiiM Sound will launch globally on 28 October 2025 for $299 USD (or £299 in the UK). It comes in black or white finishes, designed to complement any modern interior.
Simple design with powerful performance
The WiiM Sound carries the brand’s signature minimalist design. Its clean lines and premium materials make it blend easily into any space. While small in size, it delivers crisp, high-resolution audio with impressive clarity and depth.
It also supports multi-room playback through the WiiM Home app, letting listeners connect several WiiM devices across different rooms. Users can stream the same song throughout their home or choose individual playback for each zone. The setup process is fast and intuitive, requiring no complex configuration.
Smart tuning with RoomFit EQ
The standout feature of the WiiM Sound is RoomFit EQ. This intelligent calibration tool measures your room’s acoustics using a smartphone microphone. It then adjusts the speaker’s output to deliver balanced sound that suits your space.
Whether placed on a shelf, desk, or in an open-plan area, the speaker automatically fine-tunes its frequency response. The result is clear, even sound with natural tone and accurate bass — no manual tweaking required.
Built for today’s streaming lifestyle
The WiiM Sound supports the latest hi-res streaming formats and popular services, ensuring listeners can access their music without limits. Firmware updates arrive automatically, keeping the system compatible and secure.
It integrates seamlessly with the wider WiiM ecosystem, including the Amp, Amp Ultra, and other connected products. This makes it easy to expand your setup over time — from a single speaker to a full home audio network.
Compact, connected, and future-ready
By combining high-resolution playback, wireless connectivity, and intelligent sound optimisation, the WiiM Sound sets a new standard for all-in-one speakers. It’s designed for listeners who want simplicity without sacrificing performance.
With its refined design, smart features, and reliable updates, the WiiM Sound marks another bold step in WiiM’s mission to make premium sound accessible to everyone.
